Home Needed for Young Adults in Early Twenties with Disabilities

Do you love the idea of making a real difference? Consider opening your home to an individual with a developmental disability. Pathlight’s Shared Living Program is actively recruiting for care providers in the Westfield, West Springfield, Easthampton, and/or Agawam areas who would like to care for either a man or woman (both in their early 20’s) in their own home or apartment.

If you’re looking for a friendly, easy-going roommate who enjoys baseball, car & air shows, spontaneous bus trips to the mall or other outings/events, then we’ve got the guy for you! Or perhaps living with an “entertainment enthusiast” is more your style? This young lady is a theater-buff and true gamer (board or video games- she loves them all)! She also enjoys talking on the phone, texting, and dancing.

Don’t miss out on this rewarding opportunity to help and mentor these young people to increase their independence and achieve their goals! Ideal candidates would have skills in working with this population (though not necessary), and would be able to establish good routines, set reasonable limits, and provide an active and healthy lifestyle. An open heart, reliability, maturity, and flexibility are required.
