This is Me: Portraits of Pathlight is a photography project that focuses the camera lens on people served by Pathlight throughout Western Massachusetts. Renowned local photographers have partnered with Pathlight to shoot portraits that convey the strength, beauty, complexity, and personality of people with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.
Meet photographer Sarah:
Sarah Crosby is a visual storyteller based in New England. She began documenting her own life as one of 11 children during high school and later earned a degree in photojournalism at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Sarah fell in love with western Massachusetts while working as a photojournalist for the Daily Hampshire Gazette and eventually wove herself into the 413 fabric.
Nestled between farm fields and mountains in Hatfield, Sarah now works for various news, higher education and commercial clients across the East Coast. Before first morning light, you can find her oar-in-hand on the stunning Connecticut River with Northampton Community Rowing.
